Flossing with Braces
Having braces can make flossing a little harder! Luckily there are some different floss types to help.
Using a “floss threader” to get actual string floss in between the teeth is an effective way to floss. The string floss can scrub in between the teeth the best.
Floss threader:
Using the threader however can take some time, and we all know if it takes longer, some kids just won’t do it. An alternative are orthodontic floss picks. They look like the floss picks you are used to seeing, yet one side is slimmer, to fit between the wire an the tooth.
Orthodontic Flosser:
Another option is SUPERFLOSS. This has a built in threader with spongy floss attached to it and is great to catch all the plaque!
